Saudi Fund Uzbekistan Cooperation Discussed in Tashkent

Sultan Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, met with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Khodjayev Jamshid Abdukhakimovich in Tashkent to discuss ways to strengthen Saudi Fund Uzbekistan cooperation across multiple development sectors. According to the fund’s official X account, the talks focused on enhancing collaboration and advancing key development initiatives throughout Uzbekistan.

The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts to expand economic and infrastructure projects in the country, reinforcing ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. Officials emphasized the importance of joint initiatives that promote sustainable growth and sectoral development.

Additionally, in Riyadh, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Alkhereiji met with Nuno Mathias, the Portuguese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, who is concluding his tenure, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to maintaining strong diplomatic and development partnerships worldwide.
