Saudi Fashion Commission launches executive master’s program in partnership with French institute

The Saudi Fashion Commission has launched an executive master’s program in collaboration with the Institut Français de la Mode, one of the world’s leading fashion institutions, marking a new milestone in specialized education for the sector.

The 15-month Executive Master’s in Fashion and Luxury is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their leadership and managerial skills without stepping away from their careers. The program combines in-person sessions in Riyadh and Paris with supervised online learning, equipping participants with strategic, analytical, and executive capabilities.

The curriculum, developed based on market needs, covers areas including creativity and design, brand strategy, sustainability, consumer behavior, retail innovation, media, collection management, and industry forecasting. Participants are also required to complete a thesis demonstrating new knowledge to advance the fashion industry at regional and international levels.

Experts from the French institute, specializing in fashion history, sustainability, consumer behavior, design, and luxury management, will conduct the course. The program includes three in-person modules in Riyadh and one in Paris, supported by an online learning platform with direct academic supervision.

This initiative is part of the ongoing partnership between the Saudi Fashion Commission and the Institut Français de la Mode, which began in June 2022 and encompasses advanced education and training programs aimed at developing the region’s fashion sector.
