RIYADH – Ramadan worshippers visit Mount Al-Rumah in Madinah before Maghrib prayer, gathering at the historic site located approximately 4 kilometers from the Prophet’s Mosque. Devotees have been arriving at the mount ahead of the evening call to prayer, combining worship with a chance to reflect on Islamic history, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Mount Al-Rumah, stretching about 180 meters in length, holds historical significance as part of the Battle of Uhud. Visitors can observe the positions where archers were stationed during the battle, gaining insight into one of the key events in early Islamic history. The site has become a popular destination for those wishing to connect spirituality with historical reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.
