King Salman Orders Over SR3 Billion in Ramadan Aid to Beneficiaries
King Salman has issued a directive for the disbursement of more than SR3 billion ($0.8 billion) in aid to social security beneficiaries ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Under the plan, heads of households will receive SR1,000, while each dependent in the family will receive SR500. The payments are expected to be transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts in the coming hours.
The move reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to supporting families in need and ensuring that their requirements are met during Ramadan, SPA reported.
The directive was made following a recommendation by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, highlighting the leadership’s focus on social welfare and assistance programs during the holy month.
