Over 2,000 Religious Events Announced in South Al Batinah for Ramadan 1447 AH

Authorities in the Governorate of South Al Batinah have announced plans to organize more than 2,000 religious, educational and awareness activities during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in A’Rustaq confirmed that the initiative forms part of its preparations for Ramadan 1447 AH, with programs designed to reach different segments of society across the governorate.

Officials said the activities will include religious lectures, guidance sessions, community outreach programs and faith-based awareness campaigns aimed at strengthening spiritual values and promoting ethical conduct throughout the holy month.

The department noted that the plan reflects its broader mission to enhance religious awareness, reinforce principles of moderation and balance, and deliver meaningful advocacy messages that respond to the needs of the community during Ramadan.

Ramadan, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer and reflection, is traditionally marked by increased religious engagement and charitable initiatives. Authorities said this year’s program seeks to ensure that mosques and community centers across South Al Batinah play an active role in fostering unity, spiritual growth and social responsibility.

Further details regarding event schedules and locations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
