Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 England vs Scotland and Ireland Fixtures Confirmed

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 England vs Scotland Ireland fixtures have been officially confirmed following the completion of the qualifying tournament earlier this month. Scotland and Ireland secured their spots and will now face host nation England in Group Two of the tournament.

The 12-team competition, the largest in the history of the Women’s T20 World Cup, will see Scotland, Ireland, England, West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka compete in Group Two. Meanwhile, Group One features Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

The tournament will begin with England taking on Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. Ireland will face England in Southampton on 16 June, while Scotland are set to meet England at Headingley on 20 June. Notably, the England-Scotland clash will mark the first time the two nations have met in any men’s or women’s Cricket World Cup fixture on UK soil.

Ireland and Scotland will kick off their campaigns against each other at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on 13 June. Additional group matches will be played in Bristol.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place at The Oval on 30 June and 2 July, with the final set for 5 July at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Defending champions New Zealand women’s national cricket team will look to retain the title they claimed two years ago. The 2026 edition also marks the first time since 2009 that England will host the Women’s T20 World Cup.

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 England vs Scotland Ireland matchups are expected to draw significant attention, particularly with historic rivalries and emerging teams aiming to make a mark on the global stage.
