Real Madrid and Atletico Arrive in Jeddah Ahead of Spanish Super Cup Clash

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday as preparations continue for the semifinals and final of the Spanish Super Cup. The two Madrid rivals are set to face each other in a highly anticipated semifinal on Thursday.

Players from both teams were given a warm welcome upon landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport, where they were greeted with traditional Arabic coffee, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s hospitality to the visiting clubs.

The tournament will begin with the first semifinal on Wednesday, featuring Barcelona against Athletic Club. The winners of both semifinals will advance to the final, scheduled for Sunday.

All matches in the competition will be held at Alinma Bank Stadium in King Abdullah Sport City, with kick-off times set for 10:00 p.m. local time.

The Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah brings together some of Europe’s biggest football clubs and continues to highlight the growing role of Saudi Arabia as a host for major international sporting events.
