Jeddah – Hajj Ministry Suspends 1,800 Foreign Umrah Travel Agency Contracts as part of a regulatory effort to improve service quality and compliance in the Umrah sector.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the suspension affecting 1,800 out of roughly 5,800 foreign travel agencies. Agencies have been given 10 days to address deficiencies and meet approved performance standards.

The ministry clarified that the suspension applies solely to the issuance of new visas and contracts.
