Cristiano Ronaldo Missing Poster Goes Viral in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the center of online attention in Saudi Arabia after being absent from Al Nassr’s latest Saudi Pro League match. A mock “missing person poster” circulating on social media humorously describes the 40-year-old footballer as “a man with a severe crying problem,” quickly going viral across platforms.

While the authenticity of the poster remains unverified, it has sparked both amusement and debate among fans. Some social media users treated it as light-hearted fun, while others criticized it as disrespectful toward the Portuguese star. Reports suggest the images were even shared on walls in public spaces, fueling discussions across the kingdom.

Rumors have also circulated that Ronaldo temporarily returned to Portugal, with photos showing him boarding a chartered flight.

Sources indicate that his absence from the match may be tied to frustration over Al Nassr’s lack of reinforcements during the January transfer window. The Portuguese forward reportedly chose not to play in protest, following rival club Al Hilal’s significant squad improvements, including the high-profile signing of Karim Benzema.

Both Al Nassr and Al Hilal operate under Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). Ronaldo is said to be dissatisfied with what he perceives as unequal support between the two clubs, contributing to the ongoing speculation about his future and status within the Saudi Pro League.
