Baha Winter Camps Attract Tourists and Boost Regional Tourism
BAHA — The Baha winter camps are gaining popularity as a key attraction during the winter season, drawing families and visitors to open areas, public parks, and rural farms across the region.
Set against Baha’s mild climate and mountainous landscape, the camps feature traditional tents decorated with authentic patterns and colors, reflecting the region’s cultural heritage and rural lifestyle. Visitors enjoy social gatherings, traditional markets, handicrafts, and outdoor activities.
The camps form part of the larger Baha Winter Festival, which hosts over 250 events organized by more than 40 government and private entities. Authorities oversee the camps to ensure safety, provide essential services, and maintain environmental standards while preserving natural sites.
“The winter camps are enhancing Baha’s reputation as a leading seasonal tourism destination,” the Saudi Press Agency reported, noting that the festival will continue until Ramadan and encourages residents from across the Kingdom to participate.
