Asian nationals arrested in Seeb Muscat for drug trafficking and possession of marijuana
Muscat – Asian nationals arrested in Seeb Muscat for drug trafficking and possession of marijuana, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed on Tuesday. Authorities said two expatriates of Asian nationality were taken into custody in the Wilayat of Seeb, located in the Muscat Governorate, for allegedly possessing quantities of marijuana and hashish intended for illegal distribution.
The arrests were carried out by the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, part of the ROP’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking. Legal procedures against the suspects are currently underway, and the police emphasized their commitment to maintaining law and order while curbing illicit drug activities across the Sultanate.
